Bookings are for food only; we do not book tables for drinks. Drinks tables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis only in the bar area only.

We take bookings for up to 10 people in the restaurant via the Seven Rooms booking system. If you have allergens or are vegan/vegetarian, please leave a message in the comments section online or call us on 01727 530332 as we are unable to cater for allergens on the day.

To reduce no-shows, we have implemented a credit card booking process.

There is no charge to your card but if a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the booking or a customer does not show up the card will be charged £35 per person booked.

Dogs are not allowed in the back restaurant room but are welcome in the bar area which is not bookable.

Please be advised the bar is very busy at weekends, especially during the evening and may not be suitable for your pet.

We apologise but we cannot accept any requests for a specific table for your reservation.

We were proud to be an independent craft beer pub in St Albans and always stock limited beers bought directly from the brewers. From sours to New England pale ale and one of the first craft beer pubs in St Albans, opening our doors at a time when craft beer was only just starting to make its mark. 

Fast forward to our 10 year anniversary, and the UK is now home to some truly incredible breweries. We’ve built strong relationships with many of them, allowing us to regularly feature the most exciting limited-edition beers on the market. Our commitment to showcasing the best of British craft beer remains as strong as ever.

The Txuleta Prime Rib

Our most popular dish on the menu. The Prime Rib is finished with a rich Brown Butter Gravy and of course our beef fat triple cooked chips. 

Available Wednesday to Saturday we also serve it as a sharer for a perfect Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

We have worked with our supplier Mr Txuleta for the past 9 years originally importing the dairy cow beef in from Galicia in northern Spain until recently when they have managed to farm this magnificent beef locally to us up in Bedfordshire. 

We also often have other cuts on our specials board including the t-bone and a sirloin on the bone.
