Our A la Carte Menu is available at lunchtime and dinner.
There is also a Snacking Menu available in the bar area (walk-ins only in the bar).
On Sundays alongside our a la carte menu, we offer a traditional Roast Lunch. Find rare-breed Roast Beef and Corn-fed Chicken with all the trimmings, a vegetarian option, plus sharers on the specials board which can be enjoyed by two people (please note that you can pre-order the Dairy Cow Prime Rib in advance to avoid disappointment.)
Sunday Roasts are all priced at £29 and Children’s portions are priced at £12.50.
Every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday you can enjoy our set course Mid-week Lunch Menu for just £25 for two courses. Or, if you have a bit more time on your hands, three courses for just £29.
Our menus change with the seasons, with smaller changes applied daily due to the nature of our small suppliers.

Please note that due to the way we prepare our menu, it is essential that you call us or add a message with any dietary, vegan, or vegetarian requirements at the time of booking to ensure that we can accommodate you.

Did you know the Hot Cross Bun was invented at St Albans Cathedral?
We tried some this morning baked to the original Alban Bun recipe made with flour milled at Redbournbury Mill, just a mile down the road.
Roberto is making an Alban Bun Old Fashioned with a batch from yesterday which he has first toasted to infuse Scotch Whisky, adding Angostura Orange Bitters and Fee Brothers Cherry Bitters.
If you haven’t tried a traditional Alban Bun head to the Abbey where they are selling them this weekend, or if you prefer a drink to celebrate Easter, come to the bar and try Roberto’s Alban Bun Old Fashioned. Even better, do both! 😋
