Last weekend after a two-year hiatus we were thrilled to be back once again at Pub in the Park St Albans, held in the beautiful surroundings of Verulamium Park.
Tom Kerridge’s festival of food, drink and music did not disappoint. The PITP team assembled an amazing mix of restaurants, chefs, suppliers and entertainment, plus the sun shone all weekend long. It was an absolute scorcher which gave the event a magical and celebratory feel as we head into Autumn.
On our menu were signature Dylans at The Kings Arms specialities, Smoked Ham Hock and Parmesan Croquettes and Slow Roasted Lamb Shoulder Tacos. To drink, attendees were spoilt for choice, but the perfect accompaniment to our offering this year was a glass of English fizz.
To showcase the pairing, it was brilliant to team up with Chapel Down the official sparkling wine partner of the festival. Together we hosted two masterclasses, trying their range of award-winning wines with our food at intimate and exclusive tastings at their stand.
The verdict? Our Lamb Taco with their Brut Rose Reserve was 👌.
Thanks to the team at Chapel Down and to all those who came.
